You actually need a specific permit to do a professional shoot here, and it’s not a “hop out of the car” location—it takes a bit of a walk to get to the best spots.   

One of my favorite things about Villa Rufolo is the Torre Maggiore, the medieval tower you can climb for a panoramic view of the entire town. The contrast between the ancient, weathered stone and the vibrant, manicured flower beds makes for a very rich visual story. I often find that my clients feel a sense of solemnity here, a connection to the kings and popes who once walked these same halls.
